Mixed Media Ganesha

I love this one...really because its done using different things, not only paint! This is a 3 layer Ganesha artwork! The first layer, the foreground is the God Ganesha (I drew and painted only his head-with watercolors) on a lotus. The second layer is ink printing, and in black and white you can see other lotuses floating in the pond. The third layer, the background is the sun, sky, mountains, and river (done with colored paper). All three layers are attached using fan-like papers and the frames. I did this when I was around 9 years old. This artwork's purpose is actually to tell a story, and I chose to do this one, representing the Story of Lord Ganesha (how he got his elephant head)!
